Judicial letter filed
The owner of a chicken processing plant yesterday filed a judicial letter in the Civil Court addressed to the director general of the Food and Veterinary Services Section.
George Falzon of Burgu Farm, Hamrun, called on the director to stop inciting broiler producers not to take chickens to his farm and claimed the producers were being threatened with the loss of government subsidy if they did this.
Falzon held the director responsible in damages.
Dr Anglu Farrugia signed the writ.
