I had an opportunity of taking my family to visit Fort Ricasoli on the occasion of the open weekend organised for people to see the film sets built within the fort. It was a very nice experience, not only for my children but even for me and my wife, since we had a chance to see a magnificent film set constructed by Maltese workers.

The film industry in Malta is growing at a fast rate and has made significant advances, for which I take the opportunity to congratulate the government for the initiatives it took.

A word of praise goes particularly to the Malta Film Commission and the Parliamentary Secretary, George Hyzler, who helped this industry to flourish so much.
