A San Lawrenz man was yesterday fined Lm50 for exercising a presumed right over land situated in Gharb, Gozo.

John Attard, 36, was found guilty after Magistrate Giovanni Grixti ruled that there existed no proof of Attard's right to the land and that Attard had not produced evidence to prove otherwise.

Police Inspector Paul Vassallo prosecuted.
