Animal awareness day at Bay Street

The Bay Street complex, in collaboration with students from the Tumas Dingli Primary School in Attard, will today be hosting animal awareness day.

The events kick off with the presentation of a cheque to SOS Animals and the Animal Awareness Association, followed by a singing performance and a short play entitled 'St Francis and the two doves'.

Ten children dressed in animal costumes will then give a short presentation about the difficulties they encounter in today's world, in which awareness about the animals' needs is lacking.

The day's activities will come to an end with tricks performed by Rennie Scicluna's dog Floyd.
