Medicines worth Lm361,266 stored in government stores went past their expiry date between January and October this year, Health Minister Louis Deguara told Mr Evarist Bartolo (MLP) in reply to a parliamentary question yesterday. That included a product, Iloprost, worth Lm179,654, procured in 1998 for one patient who had since passed away.

He said medicines worth Lm270,501 expired last year.
