A Turkish man was yesterday charged with using a forged Greek passport.

Nedim Demir, 30, was also charged with giving false information to the immigration authorities by presenting a passport in the name of Nikolaos Aristos on arrival last Sunday.

Demir pleaded not guilty to all three charges and was remanded in custody.

Police Inspector Sandro Zarb prosecuted.
