¤ The feast of Christ the King is being celebrated today with the theme Bi Kristu, Fi Kristu u Ma' Kristu.

The feast, organised by the Diocese Commission for the Lay Aposolate (KDAL), together with the Diocesan Youth Commission (KDZ), starts at 3.15 p.m. on Independence Square, in front of the Christ the King monument.

Wreaths will be laid in front of the monument at 3.30, followed by a reading from the Bible. The Victoria Scout Group will parade to the Sports Complex, followed by a speech and Mass led by Bishop Nikol Cauchi, renewal of baptismal vows, other prayers and sacramental blessing.

In case of rain, celebrations will be held inside the Sports Complex.

In view of these celebrations, Mass at the Ta' Pinu Sanctuary will be held at 5.30 p.m.

¤ A car boot sale, organised by the Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo, is being held at Marsalforn Car Park today from 9 a.m. Tickets cost Lm3 per car.

¤ Activities are being organised by the Gozo Motocross at tax-Xhajma, l/o Nadur, today at 1 p.m.

¤ A bazaar in aid of the Gozo missionaries in Guatemala, Fr Joseph Camilleri of Xewkija, and Fr Anton Grech of Victoria, is being organised in Palm Street, Victoria (next to the MUSUEM, girls' section), from tomorrow to Saturday from 8.30 to 11 a.m. and from 4 to 7 p.m. For more information call 2155-6509.

¤ A collective art exhibition, in aid of the Gozo animal sanctuary, is being held at the Banca Giuratale, Independence Square, Victoria, from tomorrow to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

¤ In Tandem, an art exhibition by Nicholette Vella and her sister Rebecca, is being held at the Exhibition Hall, St Francis Square, Victoria, till Saturday during office hours.

¤ Views of Malta, a photographic exhibition by Daniel Cilia, is being held at Palazzo Palina, Ta' Cenc Hotel, Sannat, till Sunday.

¤ Homage to an Island Home, an art exhibition by Paul Stellini, is being held at the Victoria council hall, Banca Giuratale, Independence Square, Victoria, till Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 1.30 to 4 p.m.

¤ An outing for adults and elderly is being organised by the Fontana parish on Tuesday at 8.45 a.m.
