A Remembrance Day ceremony to mark the fallen of the two world wars was celebrated last Sunday on Independence Square, Victoria.

A contingent from the Armed Forces of Malta formed a guard of honour. After a commemorative address by Charles Bezzina, and a reading from the Bible, the Last Post was sounded and a minute of silence was observed, after which the Reveille was played.

Minister Giovanna Debono, together with mayors, heads of government departments, members of organisations and ex-servicemen laid wreaths in front of the Christ the King monument.
