A song and dance marathon in solidarity with patients at St Luke's Hospital is being held for the second consecutive year at the hospital, tomorrow between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., by the committee of the Milied Hieni Campaign.

The aim of the marathon is to collect money to buy presents to distribute to patients at Christmas time.

The committee also launched a competition: wards and individuals collecting the largest amount of money will receive trophies.

There is also a drawing competition for children who are patients at the hospital.

The committee said a request had been made to Maltacom to provide three telephone lines for fund collection, but Maltacom said the committee would have to pay Lm1,000 in charges for this to be possible.

Donations may be made to APS Bank account 13147113014.

The Milied Hieni Campaign is made up of staff members at the Biomedical Engineering Division at the Health Department.
