Man to be charged with drug offences

A 26-year-old man is to be charged with drug offences in the coming days after the police found drugs during a raid at a private residence in Sta Venera on Thursday evening, the police said.

The police said the raid by members of the Drugs Squad was carried out after they had kept close watch over the residence for some days.

During the raid, the police found heroin and various items connected to drug abuse and trafficking.
