A woman was yesterday convicted of failing to let her estranged husband see the children last August while two men were found guilty of failing to pay their wives alimony.

Jacqueline Zammit, 32, was fined Lm25 for failing to allow her estranged husband Gordon to see their five-year-old son twice and their 12-year-old son once in August.

Zammit was also found guilty, in a separate case, of failing to allow her husband to see their younger son four times in August.

Joseph Gera, 55, was fined Lm20 for failing to pay his estranged wife Monica alimony while Noel Borg, 38, was fined Lm25, the maximum fine established by law, for failing to pay his wife Mariella alimony and warned that if he was again found guilty of the same offence the court would send him to jail.
