A recent study by Showboats International showed that recent superyacht orders are up by 18.4 per cent, the executive director of Grand Harbour Marina Tony Demajo said.

He was one of two representatives from Grand Harbour Marina who attended the recent Superyacht Society Awards held to coincide with the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in Florida, the other being sales and marketing director of Camper & Nicholsons Marinas, Jeff Houlgrave.

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is one of the most important in the super-yacht calendar and is attended by the world's top designers and builders.
