The President of the Estonian Parliament, Toomas Savi will be leading a parliamentary delegation from Estonia on an official visit to Malta between today and Sunday.

The government said that apart from Dr Savi, who will be accompanied by his wife, Mrs Kirsti Savi, the delegation will include MP Andreas Varik, a former agriculture minister, and MP Lukas Tunis, a former education minister.

Dr Savi, 60, specialised in sports physiology and is himself an established athlete, having won several titles in his country. He was one of the founders of the Estonian Reform Party.
