Zabbar Road water reservoir

My 70-year-old father-in-law's basement garages have been out of use since mid-August because of a water reservoir being dug for the government in front of his residence.

Were it not for our timely arrival from our summer residence the night before works started, his car would have been locked up in the garage to this very day, unable to be taken out.

My father-in-law was abroad at the time and neither the contractor nor the government bothered to notify him.

When recently he approached one of the contractor's workers to see if works were going to take long, the reply he got was that he should have protested for the works not to be carried out!

As the situation is, two garages have been rendered unusable until the works are completed. Minister Censu Galea please note.
