The Association of Parents of Children in Church Schools, a newly-set up organisation of parents, will be holding its first official activity next month, a seminar on 'The role of parents in Church schools' on November 16 from 8.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the New Dolmen Hotel in Qawra.

The aim of the association is to encourage parental participation in the educational process and of ensuring the promotion and enhancement of Christian values received at Church schools.

The seminar is open to all parents as well as to all those interested in the education of children.

The main speakers will include experts in their own right in the various fields of education, the law, university, and the Church.

There is also going to be a short presentation by a computer company on the use of the internet, its dangers and also useful information to parents in this regard.
