EU budget commissioner in Malta

Michaele Schreyer, the European commissioner responsible for the budget, is in Malta to open the contact group meeting for European financial control organisations which will be held at the Hilton Hotel today and tomorrow.

Tomorrow, Commissioner Schreyer will also meet Finance Minister John Dalli.

She was welcomed at the airport yesterday by Economic Services Minister Josef Bonnici.
