Tomorrow's edition of PoezijaPlus at the Sala Isouard of the Manoel Theatre (from 7.30 p.m. onwards) will feature Dr Philip Farrugia Randon - one of Malta's leading narrators - who will recite a set of poems.
Dr Farrugia Randon, has been the interpreter of major works such as the epic poem Pawlu ta' Malta, written by Oliver Friggieri, and the 'voice' behind a CD entitled Poeziji containing a selection of works by the same poet.
The interpretation he gives to poems is a mixture of grandeur and pathos, parched in baroque style and embalmed with an intimacy that reminds of the mystics retired in the desert.
On Thursday at 7.30 p.m. at the Manoel Theatre's Café Diva, the second book of Marie Anne Zammit will be launched. The book, a whodunit, is titled Ir-ragel l-iswed.
The evening will be animated with the collaboration of PoezijaPlus.
