Opposition home affairs spokesman Gavin Gulia yesterday urged the Minister of Home Affairs to improve resources to the police at Marsascala.
He said the population at the locality had risen considerably and many went there for recreation and entertainment, yet Marsascala had a small police presence and an old police station which did not even have a direct phone link to police headquarters. In contrast, Qawra had its own police station and a bigger police presence.
