Playmobil has once again opened its doors to another one of their international distributors, this year being the Brio Retail with the Brio Chain. Brio Retail are well renowned in the toy business with operations in Norway, Sweden and Poland.

With over half the total toy market in Norway, they are one of the leading companies in the toy trade market. Brio Retail comprises a total of 305 shops, of which 171 are established in Norway.

This year the group held its annual sales conference in Malta. The 161 participants included franchisers, shop managers and the chain's central management.

As distributors of Playmobil in the Nordic and Baltic areas, the visit to Malta presented Brio Retail with a unique opportunity of rounding off their sales conference with a hands-on experience in the toy production process.

On October 14 Brandstätter Group managing director Helga Ellul welcomed the participants at the Playmobil production plant in Bulebel.

Subsequently, Tore Oystein Stromsodd, the managing director, highlighted the significance of the visit to Playmobil and raised the point that such experiences enhance product knowledge and awareness.

The audience hear-tily welcomed the presence and speech of the honorary consul for Norway, Tony Zammit Cutajar.

Playmobil personnel who are well versed in the production process showed the group round the production plant. At the end of the tour each participant collected the Playmobil token which was produced for the occasion.
