Drug possession charge

A Balzan man was yesterday charged with the possession of cannabis resin, heroin and cocaine.

Joswil Galea, 24, pleaded not guilty to drug possession in l-Ibrag on October 21 and 22.

He was remanded in custody and Magistrate Joseph Cassar recommended that Galea be allowed to begin a drug rehabilitation programme.

Police Inspector Josric Mifsud prosecuted.

Dr Martin Fenech appeared for Galea.
