Apart from many flights to Malta over the last 28 years, I also fly extensively elsewhere - about 20 flights this year. Consequently, accurate comparison is an actuality rather than showing some difficulty competently using the internet.
With the exception of a business class routing through Malta to Tripoli last month, I have never had to pay £410 for flights. The cost of the flights for our present holiday was £230 with Air Malta, some £90 less than the previous week's flight between Edinburgh and London!
It is possible to get even cheaper flights, but whether business or tourist, Air Malta is a reliable and highly enjoyable airline.
Accordingly, I suggest Mr Newson logs onto www.airmalta.com in future.
