Chinese delegation to visit

Mr Zeng Jianhui, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China and chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, will be leading a delegation on an official visit to Malta between tomorrow and Tuesday.

The delegation will include Mr Yu Enguang, a Deputy of the NPC and a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee.

The Department of Information said the main objective of the visit is to provide another opportunity to further consolidate relations between the two countries as well as to explore new areas of cooperation in the light of bilateral relations and international cooperation.

The delegation will be meeting the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives and will pay courtesy calls on the President, the Speaker, the economic services and foreign affairs ministers and the leader of the opposition.
