Sant in New York

Labour leader Alfred Sant met members of the commercial community during the first day of his visit in New York yesterday, the MLP said.

Dr Sant, who is accompanied by Labour finance spokesman Leo Brincat, discussed prospects for new projects between Malta and the US.

The MLP said the aim of the visit by Dr Sant and Mr Brincat was to make new contacts for economic projects that the MLP would implement after the next election.
