A public lecture on marketing Malta as a tourism destination in the US will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Sliema, on Friday between 9 and 11.30 a.m.

The lecture is being organised by the American Embassy, in collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority, Air Malta, plc, and the Crowne Plaza.

The speaker will be Michael Fox, president, Michael Fox Associates, Chicago, Illinois. Mr Fox is also a senior consultant to the private and public sectors, non-governmental organisations and development agencies throughout the world in the travel and tourism industry. He works overseas on many aspects of tourism development.
