The good performances of Floriana striker Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza and Birkirkara's Roderick Briffa in the domestic league, have been rewarded with a call-up to Mark Miller's Malta U-21 squad for tomorrow's UEFA Championship qualifier against Israel.

Miller has named a 20-man squad for tomorrow evening's match, kicking off at 6 p.m. at Ta' Qali. On Tuesday, Malta U-21s are scheduled to take on France in another qualifier at Ta' Qali, starting at 7.30 p.m.

Gareth Sciberras, who has been in fine form for Pietà this season, also makes a welcome return to the U-21 squad after missing the Slovenia trip due to injury.

Malta U-21s lost 1-0 to Slovenia in their opening UEFA championship qualifier.

Antoine Zahra, the Hibernians forward, was also on the list after he recovered from a hamstring injury which has sidelined him for the last three weeks.

Defenders Lee Lombardi (Pietà H.) and Ryan Mintoff (Hibernians) will be on standby.

After yesterday evening's training session, the U-21 contingent, headed by Miller and his assistant-coach Silvio Vella, moved to the Bugibba Holiday Complex where they will be staying for the next six days.
