The good performances of Floriana striker Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza and Birkirkara's Roderick Briffa in the domestic league, have been rewarded with a call-up to Mark Miller's Malta U-21 squad for tomorrow's UEFA Championship qualifier against Israel.
Miller has named a 20-man squad for tomorrow evening's match, kicking off at 6 p.m. at Ta' Qali. On Tuesday, Malta U-21s are scheduled to take on France in another qualifier at Ta' Qali, starting at 7.30 p.m.
Gareth Sciberras, who has been in fine form for Pietà this season, also makes a welcome return to the U-21 squad after missing the Slovenia trip due to injury.
