Marriages

Mr GIUSEPPE GIUGLIANO and Miss VANESSA GRECH
The marriage took place on September 28 at the Holy Cross church, between GIUSEPPE, son of Mr and Mrs Cono Giugliano of Salerno, Italy, and VANESSA, daughter of Mr and Mrs Leonard Grech of Zabbar. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Joseph Sultana, Mr Pierre Miceli carried out the duties of best man. The bride was attended by Ms Karen Farrugia. Mr Andrew Grech and Ms Diane Grech witnessed the ceremony. A dinner was later held at the Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel, St Julian's.

Obituary

AQUILINA. On October 5, at St Luke's Hospital, PAUL, aged 85, of Sliema residing in Paola, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmena née Zarb, his children Twanny, Albert, Joe, Mary and Connie and their spouses, his grandchildren Ian, Charlotte, Lonia, Andrew, Marika and Lorraine, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated.

BUTTIGIEG. On October 4, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, RITA, aged 90, of St Venera, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Lino, Martin, John, George, Alfred, Charles and Anthony and their wives of Australia, and Joe and his wife Josette, Vivienne and her husband Alfred Zammit and Miriam and her husband Anthony Pullicino, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.

Oriental Canteen By Dynasty

The Oriental Canteen at Dar l-Emigrant, Castille Place, Valletta, serving fast food to eat in or take away, is opening next Wednesday for lunch only, Monday to Friday.
