Royal Malta Golf Club captain Tony Bonello and vice-captain William Beck last weekend selected their teams for a last friendly before the official season gets underway. Beck's pick were swinging to an easy win. However, as final results started coming in everything became uncertain. The Captain had seven wins and a draw. Beck had six wins and a draw. Another draw and Bonello would have secured an overall win. It was hence an anxious wait until the last match was concluded... a win for the vice-captain eventually meant a tied result of seven wins and one draw for each side.
