Obituary
BUSUTTIL. On October 2, Fr ANGELICUS BUSUTTIL, OCD, passed peacefully away at St Luke's Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, at the age of 69. He leaves to mourn his loss his brethren the Discalced Carmelite Friars and Nuns, his brother Joseph, his sisters Tereza and Carmen Wood of UK, nieces and nephew Denise, Maria, Nathalie, Nadia and Neville and their respective families, other relatives, among them Canon Frank Perici, and friends, including the Sisters at Dar tal-Kleru.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 9 a.m. for St Therese Sanctuary, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be concelebrated at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Kleru and St Therese Sanctuary, Birkirkara, will be appreciated. May St Therese, the Little Flower, accompany him to Heaven's Door, and God's Merciful Love grant him eternal life.
SCERRI. On October 3, at St Luke's Hospital, BERNARD (musician), of Floriana, residing at Mtarfa, aged 36, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Jacquelene, his son Julian, his father John and his mother Tereza, his brother Godwin and his wife Helen of UK, his sisters Tanya and her husband Vince Abela and Ingrid and her husband Raymond Vella, his mother-in-law Doris, widow of Joe Micallef, his sisters-in-law Josephine and her husband Lino Schembri and Lorraine and her husband Patrick Pace Bonello, his uncles and aunties among them Joseph Azzopardi, Melina and her husband Joseph Agius Delicata and Lilian Azzopardi, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital, tomorrow, at 2.45 p.m., for St Publius parish church, Floriana, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m. followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to the Moviment Missjunarju Gesù fil-Proxxmu, Gozo, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. God, grant him eternal rest.

Oriental Canteen By Dynasty
The Oriental Canteen at Dar l-Emigrant, Castille Place, Valletta, serving fast food to eat in or take away, is opening next Wednesday for lunch only, Monday to Friday. Dynasty operates a fast food restaurant in the city of London and we are now opening here, offering the same fast service to the very busy ladies and gentlemen working in Valletta. It will be a non-smoking restaurant.
Traffic Diversions
Route buses in St Julian's will be diverted to other roads as from Monday because of embellishment works being carried out between Neptunes waterpolo club and Balluta church, the Department of Information said.
It said route buses on their way to Valletta will pass through Spinola Square to Regional Road, Birkirkara Road, Birkirkara Hill to Balluta and then follow the normal route.
Route buses from Valletta to Spinola Square will proceed through Dingli Street, St Mary Street, Manuel Dimech Street, Rudolph Street, Mrabat Street, Birkirkara Road, Regional Road to Spinola Square.
Other vehicles on their way from Spinola Square to Valletta will proceed through Regional Road while vehicles proceeding to St Julian's going from Tower Road to St Julian's will pass through Old College Street to Birkirkara Road.
As long as these arrangements are in force, Birkirkara Road will be one way towards San Gwann except for route buses. A bus terminus will be set up in Balluta.
HSBC Lottery Winners
Marlene Caruana from HSBC's legal office and Mariella Xuereb from HSBC's Zabbar branch have won a lottery held for HSBC employees who used public transport to get to work during European Mobility Week.
The prize was a weekend break at the Mgarr Hotel in Gozo,
Old Stelmarians' Association
The Old Stelmarians' Association will hold Mass for former students of Stella Maris College and their friends on Sunday at 10.45 a.m. at the college chapel in Gzira.
Edexcel London Exams
Late applications for Edexcel London examinations, January 2003, will be received on Wednesday October 23 from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m, the Exminations department said.
An additional fee of Lm36.05 has to be paid with each application form.
Candidates are to submit their application form at the Examinations Department in Floriana. Gozo candidates may apply at the Lyceum complex.
Clerks' Exam Course
The UHM is to hold a course for those planning to sit for the clerks exams in the civil service.
Candidates wishing to sit for the exam must hold a minimum of five 'O' levels, including Maltese, English and Maths.
Applications for the course will be received at the UHM's offices in St Thomas Street, Floriana, until next Friday.
Cactus And Succulent Society
The Cactus and Succulent Society is holding its next meeting at the premises of Din l-Art Helwa at 133 Melita Street, Valletta, on Sunday at 9.45 a.m.
It will also be holding an exhibition in Victoria Hall, Naxxar on October 19-20, from 8.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.
SDM Unplugged
The 2002 edition of the SDM Unplugged, a feast for rock music lovers, will be held today at the university.
It will feature the bands Scar and Corkskrew.
This year's edition will be presented by Chris and Wes, the presenters of the daily afternoon show 'Faculty of Fun' on 103.7 Campus FM.

Motorcycle Stolen
