HSBC Bank Malta, main sponsors of the student body Kunsill Studenti Universitarji, has taken centre stage at Freshers Week marking the opening of a new academic year at the University of Malta.

Students are being offered a range of services and a chance to win prizes. Students opening an HSBC Student Services Account will benefit from a higher interest rate on their savings or current account. They may also take advantage of a Discounted Flexicredit loan of up to Lm1,500.

Other offers include a free Quikcash card, free direct banking, free standing orders, free local drafts, free foreign exchange services, interest free overdraft, discounted flexicredit and a fee-free credit card.

HSBC is also organising a competition for all new youth or student services account holders in which the first prize is a Hyper PC computer system.
