Each year during the second week of October, thousands of customer service call centres around the world celebrate Customer Service Week. This is an international event devoted to recognising the importance of customer service and honouring the front-line people.

On the initiative of its customer care team, Maltanet will be participating in the event which will be held between October 7 and 11. All employees including management will be involved by assisting the front office and customer care agents during this week.

Maltanet chairman Maurice Zarb Adami will also be participating in this initiative. Employees from different teams will be answering customer care calls and greeting people at front office.

Maltanet recently embarked on a company-wide exercise to improve customer service awareness, most especially among non front line staff. Throughout the week the staff will be celebrating by decorating offices with balloons and posters to create a festive atmosphere for the week, awarding appreciation certificates to employees participating in this event and inviting employees to come to work in jeans on the last day.

New and current subscribers will also have the chance to participate in a competition through which they may double their subscription if they renew or subscribe during that week.
