Dalli at London meeting

Finance Minister John Dalli, who is in London for the Commonwealth Finance Ministers' meeting, yesterday chaired a private-public dialogue session on "e-Transition- Modernising Governments", organised by the Commonwealth Business Council.

The theme for the Commonwealth Business Forum was "Managing Globalisation: Challenges for Business and Governments". This theme, and the forum's timing, link directly to this year's Commonwealth Finance Ministers' meeting.

The forum's report and recommendations will eventually be presented to the Commonwealth Finance Ministers' meeting following the endorsement of the Commonwealth Business Council's investment principles by the Commonwealth Heads of Government in Australia last March.
