Daily service to Gatwick

British Airways franchise carrier GB Airways will operate a daily scheduled service from Malta to London Gatwick this winter with new year-round lower fares.

As part of its ongoing commitment to offer a full frills service at low-cost prices, the carrier recently introduced a new flexible lower return fare of Lm90, excluding taxes and charges. The fare no longer has advance purchase or Saturday night restrictions.

"We are making travelling ever easier with e-ticket, a system which stores passengers' booking details electronically, removing the need for paper tickets. This service was introduced in June and has already proved extremely popular," British Airways Malta manager James Stagno-Navarra said in a statement.

The route will be operated with a combination of Boeing 737-300s, and a new fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.
