Probation for theft

A Fgura man was yesterday put on probation for two years for stealing a mobile phone from a Tal-Handaq factory in July.

Jesmond Azzopardi, 22, pleaded guilty to stealing Claire Borg's phone from S&R factory on July 15 at about 11.20 a.m.

Police Inspector Chris Galea Scannura prosecuted.
