An Italian primary school is looking for a Maltese school to start a Comenius Project for three years. The school is near the Lago d'Orta in Piedmont. The proposed title of project is "Tales for children, a magic world".

During the first year of the project pupils will exchange information about their schools, towns, historical elements about their area, regions and countries. They will also exchange information about a local writer for children.

In the second year the pupils will choose one of their local writer's works and report his/her work through drawings and subtitles. In the third year they will write a tale following the rules of the writer whom they have known in the last two years.

The project goals are: 1) communication and exchange of opinions between students, teachers and local education authorities, 2) pupils' approach to literary world for children from different European countries, 3) making students aware of literary writing as an expression of human feelings. The final outcome product of the project is a book.
