Malta Labour Party deputy leader Joseph Brincat yesterday filed an action for libel damages in the Magistrates' Court against the editor of Net Television.

Dr Brincat requested the court to condemn Anton Attard to pay him damages in terms of the Press Act for the news bulletin broadcast on Net Television on September 19.

Dr Daniela Chetcuti signed the writ.
