Rabat council will be taking part in Car Free Day on Sunday as part of European Mobility week.

Main Street, Parish Square, College Street corner with Count Roger Street going towards Parish Square, St Anthony Street, and St Rita Street corner with Emanuele Vitale Street up to the Parish Square will be closed to traffic between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. The Sunday market will take place as usual.

Some activities are to be held at the Parish Square. At 9.30 a.m. an electric car will be on display for the public. Between 10 a.m. and noon, the Malta Astronomical Society will be inviting the public to view the solar system from a telescope with special filtered lenses.
