A Birkirkara man was yesterday charged with fraud and misappropriation.

Carmelo Borda, 33, pleaded not guilty to defrauding Noelle Galea out of Lm950 and misappropriating the money.

He was also charged with misappropriating a Fiat Panda and Lm150 to the detriment of Rosanna Carbonaro.

Borda pleaded not guilty and was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm500.

Police Inspector Joseph Cordina prosecuted.
