"A soap-opera of non-white-goods" is the theme of an unorthodox exhibition of large colourful canvases by Italian artist Irene Canovari to be inaugurated at the Banca Giuratale in Victoria tomorrow evening.

The theme of the exhibition was developed from her thesis "Any town. Guida a Springfield, la citta' ovunque."

Before coming to Malta earlier this year, Irene Canovari who started to paint in Bologna, presented exhibitions in Bologna, Ravenna, Florence and Berlin.

The exhibition runs up to September 29.
