Bus crashes into garage

A route bus full of passengers crashed into a private garage in St Paul's Bay yesterday in a traffic accident which involved three cars. No one was injured.

The accident happened at around noon in St Paul's Street when the bus, which was heading towards Xemxija, was hit by a white Ford Escort coming from the opposite direction. The car did not stop, the police said.

As a result, the bus crashed into an Isuzu van and then into the building, the police said. An architect was called on the spot to evaluate the damage.
