Mark Bugeja set a personal best time of 10 hours and 29 minutes. Michael Gellel found difficult times during the run but still finished in 10 hours and 52 minutes and Charlie Demanuele, faced with a hamstring injury three hours into the race, finished in a lot of pain in 11 hours and 50 minutes.

The race involved swimming, cycling a distance of 180 kilometres and running 42.2 kilometres.
