DJ Tiësto, winner of the Best Club DJ 2002 at the Dancestar Awards, will be performing at The Cisk Export World Class Event on Saturday at Buskett Roadhouse.
The Cisk Export World Class Event, also includes a line-up of the best Maltese DJs - Ruby, Trevor C, J. Joy, K Man, Conrad SK, Matt Fenech, N Heaven, Kevin White, Matthew B, Franco, Miss Roberta, Blade, Jewel T, and Supermario - who will rock the crowds with their dance music till the early morning hours.
Fresh Music Agency, the agents for DJ Tiësto in Malta, said that he will be arriving in Malta from his Area 2 tour with David Bowie, Busta Rhymes and Moby, Carl Cox and John Digweed, touring 12 cities near Washington DC in the US. Cisk Export brand executive, Ivan Filletti, said: "The Cisk Export World Class Event will bring together Cisk Export, the gold winner of the European Style Lager category in the World Beer Cup 2002, and DJ Tiësto, winner of the Best Club DJ 2002. "Tiësto always had a tremendous passion for music and he always felt the need to share this passion with other people," said Gerald Debono and Trevor Camilleri, who run Fresh Music Agency, which is one of the top local DJs and artistes agency contracting both local and international artistes.
"He has performed as a resident DJ at several clubs in Holland and with his best friend, Arny Bink, he founded the record company Black Hole Recordings."
Tiësto achieved his first success with his own "Magik" series. He released his first solo album, In my memory last year, and made a big hit with his new single Flight 643. Recently, he received the Dancestar Award for "Best Club DJ". Other famous nominees in this category included Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanchez, John Digweed, Fergie, Sasha and Fatboy Slim.
"DJ Tiësto is currently performing at the best international clubs and parties and is one of the few who has the ability to take the crowd on a true magic journey. This is certainly going to be a great evening for our young people.
