¤ The feast of Marija Bambina is being celebrated in Xaghra today.
Marches will be performed by the Ite Ad Joseph Band from the Victory Band Club to Victory Square.
Solemn Concelebrated Mass, led by Gozo Bishop Nikol Cauchi will be said at 9 a.m. Canon John Sultana will deliver the panegyric. Il-Kappella Bugeja and the Jesus of Nazareth Orchestra and Choir of Sliema, directed by Mro Fr Salv Galea, will also perform.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., noon and 4 p.m. Marches, performed by the Beland Band of Zejtun and the St Gregory Band of Kercem, will be held at 11 a.m.
Traditional horse and donkey races will be held at 2 p.m.
A solemn celebration of the Second Vespers of the Solemnity of the Nativity of Our Lady, will be led by Archpriest Eucharist Sultana at 5.30 p.m.
Marches, performed by the Victory, Leone and the Santa Margerita bands, will be held at 6 p.m., followed by a procession at 7 p.m.
The Antiphon and a Eucharistic celebration will be held at 10 p.m.
