A Sta Venera man was yesterday charged with assaulting three police constables and a warden last March.

Johan Sultana, 20, pleaded not guilty to threatening and attacking police and uttering obscene words in Hamrun on March 4 at about 7.30 p.m.

He was also charged with relapsing.

Police Inspector Carlo Ellul prosecuted.

Dr Franco Debono appeared for Sultana.
