Clifford Borg, an aspiring young musician, is planning to woo German audiences with a two-month tour to launch his CD Drifted on the international market.

A classical concert pianist from Mellieha, Clifford has already gained a reputation among the more discerning local music lovers as an exponent of new age and classical music.

His CD has been well received locally, and it was as a result of this achievement that the tour materialised. He is currently working on another compilation, which is expected to be released towards the middle of next year

Although Clifford has hosted a number of concerts in Malta, playing selections from his own repertoire and that of the classical masters, this tour in Germany will be his first experience abroad.

Clifford will be performing solo as well as with other artists and ensembles.

His tour in Germany will kick off with a concert to herald a fireworks display in a mediaeval castle at Koblenz, on the banks of the River Rhine.
