Bridget McCrum will hold an exhibition of her works - bronzes, pastels, drawings and photographs - in the main hall of St James Cavalier, Valletta, from Saturday to October 20.

Having lived in Malta while her husband was in the navy, she still has many connections with the island. She now lives in Devon but also has a farmhouse in Gozo, where she stays several times a year.

Much of her work is inspired by the landscape around her two houses. Mrs McCrum has also been influenced by the stone carvings of prehistoric cultures, including those of Malta's temple period.
