I would like to point out to the health department that kiosks on the seafront in Marsascala, particularly those in Saline Road, selling such take-aways as hamburgers etc. are contaminating the area with bad smells of burnt oil due to the fact that they are not adhering to health rules.

These unhealthy bad smells of oil can be smelled from some 300 feet away from the kiosks.

Reports about this have been made for a long time but it seems that for one reason or another nothing has been done as yet.

It is also strange to note that no VAT receipts seem to be given to anyone and this has been going on for a very long time.

I hope that in the interest of fair competition and also in the interest of public safety action will be taken to stop these abuses.
