Connery is starring as Allan Quatermain in the film The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, based on the popular comic book.

The film assembles some of literature's greatest adventure heroes - from contemporary to fantasy, sci-fi and adventure characters - to save the British empire from the dangers of an enigmatic foe, a madman bent on world domination.
