I read with interest the correspondence on the entrance fee charged by the cathedral in Gozo. There are other cathedrals overseas that charge an entrance fee. In London, one has to pay around £1 to enter and then your access is limited to certain areas...

I read with interest the correspondence on the entrance fee charged by the cathedral in Gozo.

There are other cathedrals overseas that charge an entrance fee. In London, one has to pay around £1 to enter and then your access is limited to certain areas and for a certain length of time.

As for the Tourist Authority, would they be ready to pay for the upkeep of the cathedral?
