Maltese NCC students first in Europe

Norbert Spiteri and Michael Magro, two NCC (National Computing Centre) Education students will be presented with the High Achiever Awards later this month, after obtaining the highest overall exam results in the European region while studying at the Swatar Training Centre in Malta.

NCC Education has introduced an award scheme to recognise and reward its most talented and hard-working International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS) and International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (IAD) students.

The 'On Route to Global Success' scheme will see NCC Education presenting regional High Achiever Awards to the IDCS and IAD students who achieve the highest overall exam results in their region.

Mr Magro, currently employed with Maltacom Ltd, has obtained the highest overall exam results in the IDCS category and will receive the European Region IDCS High Achiever Award.

Mr Spiteri, from Crimson Wing, will receive the IAD High Achiever Award as he has achieved the highest overall exam results in the IAD category in the European Region.

Winners of the awards will receive a cheque, award plaque and the book Learning to Succeed and will be featured on the NCC Education Website.

Achiever Award will be able to communicate to potential employers and academic institutions that they have excelled in their studies and are committed to succeeding.
