The Malta International Training Centre, in its continuous endeavour to provide Maltese and international learners with a wider spectrum of quality, professional training programmes, will be offering prospective students day-release programmes leading to the ACCA examinations.

This is being done in conjunction with the School of Professional Studies of Cyprus, which has been running similar courses on the island for the past three years. The School of Professional Studies have been active in ACCA tuition since 1977 and are renowned for the outstanding results that their students achieve.

The first student intake is scheduled to prepare examinees for December examinations this year and tuition will commence on Monday, September 9.

Subject to demand, the topics being offered at MITC, starting this September, include preparing financial statements; financial information for management; managing people; information systems; corporate and business law; business taxation; financial management and control; financial reporting; audit internal review; 3.1 audit and assurance services; advanced taxation; performance management; business and information management; strategic business planning and development; advanced corporate reporting; strategic financial management.

MITC will also be hosting a free presentation for prospective students at the Victoria Hotel in Sliema on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Michael Michaelides, co-managing director of the School of Professional Studies, will address the audience.
